What an impressive turnout at the Rotary Club of Cobourg's "Sew Girls Can Go to School" event yesterday! This was my first time volunteering with this group and I absolutely loved it! 🧵🪡 Although I enjoyed the sewing, there were many other volunteers helping to cut material, assemble components, and check for quality control of the finished products.This project, spearheaded by Whitby Rotarian Janet Thorsteinson, brings like-minded individuals together through Girls Kits for the DR. They create reusable menstrual kits for young women in the Dominican Republic.
